Parabolic Mastery's Sprite-messing-around-with Thread

So, I am rather new to the business of sprite editing. However, I am rather handy with this quick and dirty recolor. There was a shadow and fade effect, but I think the .psd to .gif transition nixed them.
FYI, the sprite is the heatnix, and the fade effect is just three Mynd uppercuts (one green, two pink) layered underneath, then accented edges'd.
I'm pretty happy with it, tell me what you think.
And yes, I know this is just a recolor, but I'm trying to build my skillset. Hopefully whatever I post next will actually have some major physical changes.
