AMV of the Season + Gerenal AMV of the Season Merged!

I am proud to announce today that our General AMV of the Season Contest will be merged with our standard AMV of the Season Contest. AGF and myself discussed this idea for several weeks and we decided that Rockman fans as a whole enjoy other things besides Rockman. Specifically, we discussed that this community enjoys both Rockman related animes and your traditional anime. At first I was against the idea because as many of you know, the winner of the AMV of the Season contest get his / her video hosted on the site (If it isn't already) and a cool banner to show off where ever the winner posts it on the web. Well the problem was that I strictly wanted to host Rockman only music videos on the site. But I had to take a step back and remember that this is a community site, so its just not about what I want, its about what everyone here wants.

So with that said, I am happy to announce that non-rockman related animes can be entered into the AMV of the Season and if one just happens to win, it will be hosted on the site. Unfortunately the AMV Submission will be rockman anime exclusive. Basically that means that the only way to get your non-rockman AMV hosted on the site is to win the AMV of the Season contest. Yes I know it sounds unfair, but this is a rockman orientated site. Anyway, as of Fall of 2009 you will be able to enter your non-rockman related music videos into the contest. Best of luck everyone.
