Bit-torrent speed

Ok... i will tell you everything exactly. you see... these days, i been using bitcomet and utorrent and azureus to download. I don't know why, but the download speed is extreamly low. my computer has been on for days just so that my file can complete... but no use... it never get completed.

So my question is... how can i boost my download speed? i know... you might say like: "you need to have seeds and leechers and stuff." well... for instance, i download kamen rider from tvnihon.com... and that's a popular site that many may know... but right now i'm downloading one of their recent episode (kamen rider episode 27). it's been a week, and it still haven't finish yet. i am so pissed... so please may someone solve my problem?

some examples:
utorrent: blah blah blah something file seeds: 0(142) peers: 0(52)
bitcomet: blah blah blah something file seed/peer[all]: 0/7[0/225]

can someone tell me what this means too?

seeds: 0(142) <- You've connected to ZERO out of 142 Seeders
peers: 0(52) <- You've connected to ZERO out of 52 Peers.

So to put it simple. You see the seeders, you're just not connecting to them. This could be a firewall problem on your end, or a problem on the seeders end.

now remember, all because a torrent has tons of seeders doesn't mean that all of the seeders have a good internet connection. It could be 142 Dailiup Seeders XD

Also, I suggest that you don't download anything illegal off the web via Torrent. This includes Apps, Music, Movies, Shows, Anime, Games, etc... since its illegal and you could end up going to jail for it. Plus it doesn't support the company whose show/app your downloading. What would happen if everyone started to download Rockman games and anime instead of buying them >.>
