I just watched this movie (300) this last weekend (yes in my country the movies get here pretty late >.>), and I fell in love with it, I think this is the best historical movie I have ever seen, mostly because of the action . But I just liked how they show the feeling of how the spartans warriors get to live, specially when they are young and they have to survive or die.

Plot: well the movie has a very simple plot, the movie tells how 300 spartans defended their land against the persian empire, of course we know that this 300 warriors died but they are remembered cause of they bravery against a million of persians. Thats basically the plot...

Anyway I just wanted to make this topic to talk about it, dunno maybe about the graphics (since the manipulation of brightness, shade and contrast was amazing), the battle scenes, why persians had so weird monsters and TONIGH... WE DINE... IN HELL

Yes Omega...that Movie left me speechless. It was perfect in many ways and was historically accurate...with fiction on the side =3 Throughout the whole movie, i wasn't bored nor disgusted. It was a perfect mix of action comedy drama luv ( a lil' ) and mystery.

Well...I watched the movie a month ago....It was great ....like the tactics they use against the Persians even thought they died...thought some scenes were rather disturbing...It's surprising that every Spartan man has 6 pack abs .Also the Queen/King/God of Persia is huge..It's annoying to see some of his bling-bling all over him 0.o...too much pride..and it's weird that they added persian freaks to the story[the immortals=ninja assassins persian style..and burnt face people]..but anyways 300 came from a comic book >_<"

O_O THAT MOVIE MADE ME SPEECHLESS I SWEAR Has gotta be the best tactics I have ever seen in a movie and I wanna see it again O_O FOR SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While it was a good movie I'd have to disagree with you saying it's "historically accurate". You'd be hard pressed to find one thing in that movie that is 100% historically accurate.

That said.. it was an awesome movie.

But it can't be better then my fav non-anime movie(The Last Samurai).

I still have to see it later, but not now since I'm having exams
