Computer Help!

Yeah... I don't know if this is normal or not normal..
but this morning i turn on the comp and everthing was fine.. after that when i was gonna turn it off.. it showed me that it had a few updates to do, you know.. when you turn on the pc and there's that little shield on the Turn Off button. Well I did clicked on it. It had like 79 updates.
It took a while but then i turned off.
Hours later i turned it on again... it all worked fine... I watched videos on YouTube and fine... But suddenly... when i wanted to watch a video on YouTube insted of just click the play button.. when i moved the mouse over there a box surrended the video player and i had to click it, and then click the play button... and it not only happen on that site.. i went to other sites... and i had to click on that area and then i could be able to click the links it had and stuff...
It's hard to explain but that's what happen... so far i didn't notice that happening in this site.. but so far in gaia and Youtube it happen.
So plz friends help me out on this... is this normal or not??
I just want to get rid of it.. it is anoying because why do i have to click twice??? why is that box surrounding the player. Ok, if you know how to solve this plz help me. See ya
P.S: Also if i left the ouse there it says "Click to activate and use this control"
