Is Lime Wire Safe ?

Ummm....... there is one simple answer for ANYTHING thats related to downloading things that way. None of them are safe. Shareware bad! Buying CDs good :3

You're right KingForte but still XD!!! I have bought 30 seconds to mars and disturbed CD cause I really loved it, but I Need just like 1 song from an album its like O_O

Yea you don't wanna use any of those "share progams" they'll do nothing but screw your computer up....and they definetly AREN'T safe. Especially LimeWire...

But then again I'm not one to talk since I use Frostwire XD...but lately I haven't been using it since I find other people to get my music from...besides if I like an album a lot I just buy it anyway...

But yea if you download the wrong thing from Limewire you could catch yourself a nice Trojan XD...so don't use it unless you want the Trojan or a nice Fine.

I can't say how good/bad Limewire is.... if it's anything like Kazaa from back in the day, I wouldn't have too much faith in it. But I think the bigger concern is the RIAA.... or in my case, both them and the university, because I've already had my share of run-ins with Residence Computing. :/

I use LimeWire and never had problems. It's not a really popular program, so it has less junk.
