AMV TV Channel in the San Antonio area in Texas
A bit back I found a TV Channel that airs AMV's in the San Antonio area in Texas. It also airs in the neighboring city's Schertz and Bandera.
Its named Anime Fun TV and it airs on Thursday and Saturday Nights at 11:00pm On Time Warner Cable Digital, Channel 20, San Antonio, TX. The website can be found .
For those that can't receive it, after a suggestion from me he decided to put them in podcast form on iTunes(lower left of site). I decided to post it now, since I found out he actually introduced the podcast, so everyone can watch it now. And you can also get the DVD's of the seasons if you donate.
Aside from that anyone can enter on AMV a theirs to be shown there. There are some codec limitations though. There are other options, but the best one is the following:
Codec: MPEG2
Size of video: 720 x 480 (NTSC standard)
Frames per second: 29.97 (NTSC standard)
He also accepts Quicktime and MP4, but he re-encodes these, so for best quality airing its best to do it in his preferred format. Ofcourse MPEG1 is also possible.
In any case, I will make a special version of my AMV's in these specs, both for TV airing and the fact alot of cons also only allow the afore mentioned settings for best airing. Also take notice the owner also resizes the vids if its not 720 x 480.
In any case, post your opinions on this here and also post if you are gonna enter AMV's.

EDIT:
The screensizes aren't of importance anymore, since the owner will probably switch to widescreen, starting season 5.
And if its another format, it will just be letterboxed and not stretched etc.
