Dang that sucks. I have my photos and music on dvds. I've been meaning to get an external drive to use with time machine(yes I got leopard). Anyway I hope you recover your video and music collection. Let me know if there is anything I could do to help.

Well, I'll like to thank everyone who was concerned about my problem and tried to help and what not. As of now, my problem is fixed and I'm currently working on rebuilding my media library.

With all that said, there's no need to keep this discussing going, since it no longer has any discussion value.
