Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood *Update 9/24/08*

It seems that Sega and Bioware,a company known for PC rpg's and such, have set their eyes on Sega's beloved Sonic the Hedgehog. This game is set to take Sonic down a gaming road he's never been down before, that being a Role-Playing Game. Even tho Sega has announced that they are going to keep Sonic on the DL, they seem to have no problems teaming up with other developers to still keep Sonic alive throughout his break.
Sonic RPG is set to release some time in the year 2008 and how long the game has been in development is beyond my knowledge. It seems that Bioware is really taking full control on this project as Sega supervises and etc. (Same concept with Nintendo and Sega for Mario & Sonic)
What game play is to be like and what characters you may see in the game haven't been announced yet as far as I know, and if this game is gonna be anything like Mario RPG is beyond my knowledge as well (personally I hope it isn't, we need something new and so does Sonic)
