Official Mario Kart: Wii Topic

Well, since E3 a Mario Kart, or simply put, MK was revealed to be released for the Nintendo Wii in Winter 2008. This one will follow its previous title, MK:DS, and will feature Online play, which is said to finally support the beloved game of "Battle" for the first time.

MK:Wii is also going to come with a Steering wheel with purchase of the game, which will make game play more accessible for any gamer... anyone!

Since the Wii is stronger and can do more than the DS (doi) The Wii version can support 12 player races (Online of course) and Online Battles (Team only though) It will also feature a "Mario Kart Wii Channel" which allow players to discuss the game within the environment.

So I watched some videos on Youtube of online play from this American dude who lives in Japan and gets the games when they come out there and makes videos about them...His name is bumnumba1 and I wouldn't suggest watching his videos if you don't like spoilers or a lot of cursing...but I find it funny since he does it in a funny way XD...

But anyway he recently did a video of MK Wii's online....and it was fast and completely lag free (I won't put a link since some people might be offended by his obsessive cursing XD)...this show's how much better Nintendo's Wi-Fi is getting.

So if you get the game...expect it to be nearly or completely lag free.
