Fabula Nova Cristallis Final Fantasy XIII

The thirteenth part of the saga, composed of three chapters telling the New Fable of the Crystal. As we know, Dquare has already given details about the first two, but the third still remains enshrouded in darkness... These chapters have no connection between the other, but they are different universes with the same basic terms.

Final Fantasy XIII

According to the Atomic gaming magazine, the story is composed of elements from Final Fantasy VII, as well deeper political and ethical twists.

In a far away future, two places in which humanity exists come into conflict. These are Pulse, humanity´s home planet, and Coocoon, an orbiting space colony.

In the past, all of mankind lived in Pulse. But, the everyday dangers treathened their existance, such as the environmental dangers, and attacks from monsters.

As time passed, the scientific community experimented on a series of Crystals, native of Pulse. These experiments lead into the means of refinement that provided everything mankind would need to exist, energy and food.

As the projects for a better place arose, the companies founded the Coocoon project, which created the Space colony that still subexists today.

Of course, not all of mankind agreed with the idea of abandoming their mother planet, this caused a commotion between Pulse and Coocoon.

With their differences settled, Coocoon and Pulse now live secluded from each other. And, if a Coocoon resident makes contact with Pulse, that person is IMMEDIATLY vanished into Pulse, for the possible conspiracy of war between the two sides.

The protagonist, is an expert Mage, Swordmaster, Gunner, Martial artist and Acrobat. She used to work as an elite of a secret group within one of the companies, but she now works as a mercenary for any load of money. The trains in which she infiltrates in the videos, are transport trains from Coocoon, taking exiled people away from Coocoon. Her mission, to free those people, as well uncover the truth behind the whole project, as well the truth about these crystals.



Final Fantasy versus XIII

One is an isolated kingdom protected by a long line of Kings, the other is a fluorishing nation blessed with the crystals´ songs of Swordplay and sorcery.

These two forces inconflict, race each other for the control of the crystals in their world, to defeat the opposing side, and bring prosperity to their nations.

But in the truth, the crystals are merely the prologue of the chronicles of the new world that´s to come.

Besides the basic plot, not much about this chapter has been shown into the light. Besides the clarification of Gameplay ala Kingdom Hearts, and the Main Character´s ability to manipulate swords via telekinesis, the game is still enshrouded in many questions.



The third chapter is called Final Fantasy agito XIII, but its scheduled appearance in the Mobile phone systems really reduces it chances of being noticed, not even the smallest flinch in its story and details have been shown by Square.
