as a Note to anyone that may ask, The Static Effect used during "ONE!, nothing wrong with me. etc.." was used because it synced up perfectly with the Music Distortion at that point in the song, and of course added Character to the AMV it self.

Also the part of "FLOOOOOR!", I changed up a bit, but keep in mind that I am still working on that part.

nothing is final in this AMV.

Also keep in mind that everything I put in has purpose and plays some sort of role in my AMV.

Well currently I am taking a brake from this AMV because of the amount of IMs, PMs, and comments I gotten about this AMV needing more effects, which frankly makes me sick.

I've noticed a outbreak of users having to use effect after effect just to gain some notice on their AMV, and frankly you shouldn't have to do any of that if your AMV is good.

Seriously guys, Effects isn't the only thing in a Anime Music Videos. You can make a really good AMV without even using fancy effects.

And all because a AMV lacks fancy effects it doesn't mean that the AMV isn't good. There have been tons of AMVs that don't have real fancy effects and are real simple that are really good.

If you want to make a AMV, keep it simple. I think Synchro-Kun would agree with me on that.

Now I'm not saying that effects are bad and we shouldn't use them.
Heck the Static effect in my AMV goes prefect with the Music Distortion at the "One! Nothing wrong with me" part, and the fast-forward part fits well with the music.

But just that when making a AMV, and you plan on using fancy effects, make sure you don't use them when they are not needed. Also that Effects don't make or brake your AMV, their just there to add depth or character to it (depending on how they are used because they can also make it look ugly).

To all you Power Hungry Effects users out there (not saying names), I give you the Official XHunter Finger Wag of Shame.

XHunter is right, effects can ruin an AMV, a big example is the Politicians AMV by Shirk Deio, I loved his V1 but in his version 2 he started to use useless effects nobody wanted.

I must admit that I also gave alot of feedback on this AMV-promo, but that wasn't about XHunter using to little effects, since I don't like effects much(excepting overlay and cookie). Well a good AMV doesn't need extra effects since they can ruin the entire AMV if they are outta place.

The things on this promo I did complain about were: Synch and overusing the static effect, which doesn't mean the static effect didn't fit the AMV but it got as annoying as repeating a clip.

I watched the preview on Videolife so I use the time backwards.



4:22-4:12 I like the calm introducing music, although I've learned by now this usually means something big is coming.

4:09 Nice how you matched Dark Rockman's mouth movements with the word "silence". I read earlier how you done it. Cool.

4:06-3:53 AHH! The first time I saw it, I didn't know these fast scenes would go on for so long. My head hurt after these seconds but it is very, very well done. I can't imagine how much time this costed you to make it fitting with the music.

3:52-3:45 Another moment I didn't expected, I had the volume on my headphones turned up pretty high so I almost fell from my chair with this scene. A very intense scene, yet it felt somehow a bit strange seeing Rockman scream like this, I can't really explain why, it is more a feeling and maybe Rockman's movements but more likely it is just mee seeing things.

3:44-3:31 The scenes are pretty good and exciting and the music supports the action in them, still, not everything matched perfectly but for me it is not really important or something I focus on the most. I am no AMV-maker myself, I don't think it is really my place to say this.

3:30-3:13 My favorite part of your preview, especially the "one" and "two at the end.

anyway I've uploaded the last preview I did to my amv to the site, so if anyone wants to see the up to date preview, simply go to the first post and go to the download link with the blue text next to it saying "new".

I will be working on my AMV soon, but as of now I have some stuff I got to do. Some of the things I've done so far is self evident to most people here reading this (points to forum). Anyway, later guys

Well this update really isn't much. Its more of a note to let people know that I am still working on this project. I am currently still busy with RL and Site Stuff so its coming along still pretty slow.

P.S: Stop with the daily questions about this AMV. All because you AIM/MSN me doesn't mean I'll tell you something that no one else knows.
