title says all, I know that some people rip from dvds...is there any program that can do that? It's just been bugging me for some time now and I sorta need to know for one of my clubs I'm in.

I found just what you need over at AnimeMusicVideos.org

Under "Technical Guides" you need to check out "VicBond007's Guide to Working with DVD Footage" which is print able if you have a printer
