Okay, when I edit, I get everything down to the second, and smaller, but sometimes when I play my completed projects in Winamp, clips I deleted or parts I trimmed away still remain! What's with that?

Which program are you using to make the video?

Windows Media Maker, as always. I rather not spend money on something that I don't know if I can trust and that may take a few weeks to get the hang of.

Now...when you say scenes don't remove....do you mean that they "flash" by real quick...for like a sec. or less. Or do you mean, a scene like 5 secs long, doesn't go away, even when you delete it off the timeline?

Because, if a "split-second" clip doesn't go away, that's a constant problem with WMM. You can easily rid of that scene by adding a fade in black/fade out black effect (white is also good). Or you can go back and delete another second of the clip you want before or after the clip you don't want there.

WMM has a tendency to show you a pic of the clip you want, when in reality, there still might be a clip from the previous scene still in there, even tho you don't want it there. If scenes, that are like 5 secs long, aren't removing...then idk what's happening...and i can't help you there...srry

Yeah, I understand. Yeah, that's what happen, a real quick flash. It can be annoying sometimes though because it isn't there when I watch the WMM preview, so I save it to my PC which takes like a half hour, then I have to re-do it because a flash messed up an entire battle. I hope that's fixed in 3.0...

So, did you solve your problem? Don't worry Yang, it happens to all of us. When cutting a scene from a clip, make sure to go a couple seconds ahead to the other clip, then cut it. Don't cut it when it just goes to the other scene, because the flashing scene may still be there. So cut into it a lil' more
