Yeah that was kinda my fault...should've posted the article link instead of the site. I'll go change that right now...and as for the Sonic, I will try to get my hands on the magazine again and reread the article. If it does mention Sonic in it then I'll get the magazine and hopefully scan the page with it on there. If not than sorry for the confusion on it. But still I do hope he's in there...wouldn't mind giving him a go.

I'm wondering, in the trailer, did Snake have a rocket launcher? Looked like one to me. But still a cool trailer none the less.

I was really hoping to see Lyn or Hector from Fire Emblem 7 in brawl to add some diversity to the game. Lyn 'cause she's a girl and there aren't that many girls in melee. Hector because he's got an axe which would be different from all the sword users they have.

Well I checked the magazine again...it does mention Sonic having a pretty good possibility of being in it. The amount that was put, which was only about 4 or 5 sentances, mentions that Sonic could be put in. He might not be in the game so keep that in mind too. I'll go scan the tidbit and try to post the link as soon as possible.

anyway I think this info might be usefull for the one waiting for this game.

The Official Nintendo website (www.nintendo.com), announced that the official website of Super Smash Bros. Brawl---> , will be updating its page every weekday (thats what they say) with info about the game, things we already know (like some characters) and things we don't know (like some items, music, etc). Anyway be sure to check it every day for new updates (they just started since tuesday 22nd ).

PS: gotta love what Motoi Sakuraba (my fav video game music composer) did with the "menu" music from Melee .

Its been awhile since I've posted something in this topic.

Well with the release of the , we've been getting weekly updates on the game.

A few days ago, Zelda was announced to be a playable character, both Zelda and Link will be from the Twilight Princess versions of them selfs.

Along with Character updates, we've also been getting Music, Stages, and Item updates. I personally love the "Ocarina of Time Medley" they just announced.

Here is a list of what we now to be in the game so far.

Also, you will be able to use any one of the four controller modes selectable for each individual player.

I'm quite happy they have in the option to pick your own play style. I know personally and most of you will also choose this play style, but I'm going to stick with the Gamecube controller

But having the option to switch to one of the other three may be a challenge and you can have battles to where your friend / opponent will have to play using a different controller layout makes the game even better

I too plan on using the GC controller. It feels more comfortable IMO and most should be used to it since Melee has been out since the GC's release. I still pray for Sonic to be in it. Since Nintendo announced a total of 3 or maybe more 3rd party characters in SSBB

If you were like me, then you were questioning if Brawl was really going to have online capabilities.

Well after doing some research, I found a Q/A held with Masahiro Sakurai that was posted up on the Official Nintendo forums in a sticky.

Q:Will this game have online play?
A:Sakurai said "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility
and online functionality." One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl
was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros.
to do that. So to answer your question, yes.

Well he wasn't asked what features would be in the Online play mode, only if there would be such a mode.

Besides, I think they would try to keep things like that a secret until the last minute or at least until they have a solid release date.
