What should I do?

A few days a ago I got Megaman Starforce and I played it for some time then I wanted to try out my friends Naruto game so I pop out Starforce and tryed to put in Naruto but for some reason it didn't go in.

When I finally get the game in my DS my DS doesn't know there is a game in. Then the game gets stuck but I get it out. Long story short my DS doesn't read DS game cards any more.

I was wondering should I:

1. Pay $75 to get it fix by Nintendo
2. Trade in my broking DS and scrape up the money to get a $80 used DS
3. Trade in my broking DS and scrape up the money to get a $130 DS or DS lite

I would go with ether option 1 or 3. Option 1 gets your current DS repaired and option 3 would allow you to get a DS Lite which in my opinion is better

I have both of them, both have pro's and cons.

Pro's:
-Its more durable then the DS Lite
-Better locations of the buttons(but I expect the Lite to be easier for asians)
-Lays Better in the hand
Cons:
-Way crappier screen
-To big to carry in all your pockets
-Crappier battery
-Not many color options

Pro's:
-Awesome color depth in the screen
-Longer lasting battery
-Easier to take with you
-Cool color options
Cons:
-To small for European/American people to fully enjoy playing it
-Gets easily broken when it happen to falls on the ground
-You can't put the GBA-games in it properly(which results in me taking the other DS for GBA-games, because in the Lite they get damaged to easily)

I might think of more pro's and cons later, I will add them when they come to my mind

In any case, its just a case of personal preferance :lol:

Heh, yeah, that's true; me and most of my classmates all have a DS Lite since we have problem controlling or holding it.

Although I still prefer the DS Lite still it looks so much better than the bulky DS regular IMO.

hmmm yea Matt told me bout that lil problem there buddy...

I'd have to agree with Xhunter go with either option 1 or 3...
Personally I want a DS Lite and I think at times it is better than the original but it is your choice to make....

and also if you got a used DS it could probably give you the same problems cause you can't fully trust used material....Or atleast from what I've learned...

Like that time I got a used PS2...It worked at first but then it just wouldnt even turn on anymore after that T_T

...
But anyway yea Option 1 or 3....

Yeah I think I'm going to go with number 3 because there is this red and black DS lite coming out that I want.

Hopefully the DS lite won't feel to weird when I hold it.
