I have a Windows 2000 computer.
I need a ProtoGood movie maker program, the ones I found didn't seem like it was right for my computer. And I need a ProtoGood slide show maker.
I searched and searched and I need help, I found some good ones but they're not downloading.
I need help with the programs

you use the word "Proto" a lot XD. Anyway, did you come across WMM? It's a pretty good program, especially for slideshows. I wouldn't know of any other programs other then Vegas maybe but it cost money XD

Windows Movie Maker is a good one, but I'm not sure its available on Windows 2000.

You're not really going to be able to find a good video editing software without ether getting Windows XP, Windows Vista, or purchasing a video editing software from ether the internet or from a store.

Any video editing software (program) will be able to produce slide shows, (still images + the optional music) but it really depends on how good of a program you want.

Several companies have free trails of their software which you can download and try out (usually for 30 days) which at the end of your free trail the program will uninstall it self or prompt you to purchase of copy of the software if you wanna continue using it.

You can sometimes at the end of the free trail, uninstall the software and reinstall it for another 30 days free (e.g Vegas 6).

I would try to see if you can download Windows Movie Maker for Windows 2000.

Edit: Windows Movie Maker is only available on Windows XP and Windows Vista. If you really don't like Windows Movie Maker, try using a program like "Power Director" or "Vegas 6". Check out one of the programs on this page.
