That blood bending episode...my cinematic sense tells me that, just as Katara was not the last waterbender of the Southern tribe, Aang is not the last of his kind either. I haven't seen most of Book 2:Earth so I don't know if that's already happened, but I would be very surprised if there weren't an airbender or two hiding out somewhere.

In any case, the suffocation thing would be the most powerful, most ruthless move ever. But Aang wouldn't use it unless Katara's life were on the line, much as Katara only used it to save her brother and Aang. That would be a great segway into a romance between them, except that they're way too young for that kind of thing. :oops:

avatar is awesome ^^ i've seen up to book 3 chapter 11 (it is SO good!~) Even if it isn't technically anime, it's still pretty good ^^

I just have to comment on the Day of Black Sun epi that came out (U.S.) last Friday. My comment is this:

Sokka owns all y'all.

His sword and swordplay, his leadership abilities, his intelligence, his passion, his base cunning...I felt like the dude really stepped up. He deserves a girfriend way more than Aang.

Bending powers aside, Sokka is a consummate warrior hero.
