I CANT BELIEVE THEY TOOK OUT ROY AND MARTH!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! *sniffle* I could so pwn wit him! I sure hope someone took the MegaMan idea seriusly. and I hope it goes for gamecube (Wii is ok but I like my gamecube)

I believe it was discussed earlier that it would be impossible for Brawl to be imported over to the Gamecube. Putting aside all online functions and downloadable content, the Gamecube's and Wii's discs are completely different.

The Gamecube uses a mini-DVD (8 cm) optical disk that has a max capacity of 1.5 GB. The Wii uses a DVD (12 cm) optical disk with with a max capacity of 4.7 GB single layer. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is encoded onto a duel layer DVD (12 cm) with the max capacity of 8.5 GB.

As you can obviously see, it would be impossible for a Gamecube disk to hold all the information for Brawl thus it is impossible for it to be ported to the Gamecube.

I think if you watch the opening video to Brawl, some of your concerns will be revealed. Now while I won't reveal any of the secret characters, I can confirm the Mega Man / Rockman unfortunately is not in Brawl.

lol, well I found out that my Gamestop will be having a midnight release, so I will be getting the game Saturday night. Of course I've already seen the complete roaster so its going to fun unlocking all 35 characters.

There has been quite a lot of talk about using Skype to talk with each other over the internet while playing Brawl matches. I like this idea and would be open to any suggestions on holding battles between each other.

Yeeeeah that sounds like a nice idea. But I think I'll have to get a headset instead since like my mic is annoying to use.

It does sound like a good idea...but most of the time I'm doing a friends match it will probably be with Cinos, his brother and my other friends, and we all tend to just 3-way each other on the phone. The experience is so much better when talking with the competition.
