yay, but the would completely defeat the purpose of having the Rockman AMVs available to the general public for download. If powweb is serious about implementing my suggestion, then it will fix the problem 100%. Why do think think I got the kind of response from powweb that I did. Obviously they think its a small idea and would fix the problem for a lot of people.

The problem was never with the bandwidth. It was with the number of requests from different IP addresses / computers that were bogging down the server we are hosted on.

Why can't you just use Megaupload to host AMV's? Is there not enough room?

Yeah, I was a bit curious why PowWeb's "This site has been suspended" message had appeared...well, as long as it's fixed. So to clarify it a bit, your pushing to allow a function to make a set number of downloads for AMV files, am I right??

well would it make more sense that you have to be a ramv member in order to download a ramv members amv?

i seen amvs that other ppl have posted that wasn't members of this site and claim them as their own. and it's one but many other have done it...

i think we should have a vote on this, only rockman members should be able to download amvs? not saying they can't watch it, they shouldn't be able to download it.

besides someone could be doing this on purpose

Yet another problem, we'll get more ghost users. People making acocunts just to download.
But that could be resolved if you can monitor what people download AMV's.

Anyway... you can add a payment system. Every post will give a certain amount of points which can be traded for an AMV.
But that'll make us pathetic, like most other download site... NOT DONE
