Gametrailers.com has posted an interview with Hironobu Takeshia who talks about Mega Man 9 and how they decided upon making the game 8-bit and other little details. The video is available to watch in both SD (Standard Definition) or HD (High Definition)

In other news, IGN had their "Mega Man 9: A retro comeback" segment today on Live Wire E3. Nothing new was announced, they just talked about the basics which we've heard before like the bolts and so on. So no new news on that front.

This is what i think. What Hironobu Takeshia said made me agree with him. "we should look at 8-bit as an art style"

If someone show this interview to gamespot.com, i bet the people posting at the Mega Man 9 review would stop talking crud about Mega Man then.

im going to be honest i never played the 8bit gamesand i gotta say that im pretty glad that im going to get this chance once more to do that XD

You should go out and get yourself "The Mega Man Anniversary Collection" for either the Gamecube, PS2, or XBox. Good chance to work see what the older games were like before this new one comes out. "The Mega Man Anniversary Collection" has Mega Man 1 - 8 so you'll get the whole story
