Gameplay AMVs
I would guess that making a good AMV from video footage of a video game's gameplay would be really difficult. This is why you don't see it that much.
It's gotta be next to impossible for a game like Megaman. Megaman is not the most "animated" sprite. His movements are a bit slow and diliberate. But for a game like Kingdom Hearts II, it should be cake.
Still, I have not seen many AMVs featuring gameplay from either Megaman nor Kingdom Hearts.
The best that I've seen for megaman is that "Flashman The Game" by NHMK. And that one is freaking good. Although it is really anime with sprites animated on top of it. (Even more work thank a gameplay AMV?)
There were some wierd "Ghost in the Game" videos done on YouTube with megaman and Coheed and Cambria songs (Freaking Coheed! Love em), but the editing was not great on those.

This is an exaple of a decent gameplay AMV using Kingdom Hearts. As you can see, the guy barely had to do much editing. But I think he still did very well.
So, what do you think?
Putting gameplay into an AMV:
Should it be done more? (Has it been done much?)
Is it usually a bad thing?
Is it the most difficult thing that a AMV creator could ever do.. ever?
