Proto Man Arrives on Mega Man 9's DLC!

Downloadable Content has arrived for Mega Man 9 (WiiWare) today (October 6 th, 2008) in the form of two new modes.

Endless Attack - Test your skills on a stage without end. Try to break the record for getting the farthest. Results will be displayed in the Rankings page. Not compatible with other Challenges.

Proto Man Mode - Play the game as Proto Man. Some of Proto Man's abilities may differ from Mega Man's. Proto Man has the Charge Shot ability, Power Slide ability, and a shield that he can utilize to deflect bullets at enemies. However, Proto Man also takes double damage and has double bounce back when he is hit.

There is no story for Proto Man and he is not compatible with Rankings or Challenges. - Capcom

XBLA users will be getting these two downloadable packs on October 7th while PSN users will be receiving them on October 9th. Proto Man Mode costs 200 Wii Points ($2 USD) while Endless Attack Mode will cost 300 Wii Points ($3 USD).

already eh? I can barely beat SplashWoman's stage with Mega... I don't want to repeat it with Protoman XD

In case anyone is wondering... it took me 46mins to beat SplashWoman's stage... which shows how much I suck at traditional MM games.

I want to get him but I has not an wireless internet. I was luck enough to get MM9 when I did. I wonder though so could someone please tell me, does he come with his own challange list? I really like the challanges.

Now that I think about it... I kind of find it unfair... even though unlockable, in MM powered up, you didn't have to buy Protoman or Roll, they were also released for free download (or you can unlock them) ... in MM9 you have to buy them -_-

Ok my record for Endless Mode right now is 3 screens XD I failed. lol and as for Protoman... he is so annoying to use T_T I keep dying to quickly

Lol...-_- How much did Powered up cost? Also, Protoman doesn't have his own list. And yes, he is "annoying" to play with. I'm glad this game is more of a challenge now though. :D
