I am currently running on an ASUS 8500GT EN, but this card is starting to show it's limits... So I am planning on upgrading somewhere in the near future... Can someone perhaps suggest a card that's way better than this one, in the range of 100-200$?

Well If you want one for gaming I recommended "nVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX" it's about 200 Dollars or about 170 euro's in the Netherlands.
