I want a new Sonic Video Game, Wait, What?!

Sega seems to keep branching off from what makes sonic, sonic.
It's pretty retarded, the last thing I found good since the newest sonic game was Sonic adventure 2, which was pretty epic.
Since then, it's been screw up after screw up, being it, gameplay, random things such as "werehogs" (which is a retarded name considering were = man (man-wolf) which pretty much means man-hog, which is retarded)
Or other things fan-boys have been crying about xD
Sonic unleashed had 1 good thing going for it, day time stages.
If they where to make a game, with every stage like THAT, I would gladly buy it.
1 BIG problem for sonic unleashed was, you cant just pick up and play <_<
First, gotta collect medals and all that other annoying stuff.
I want to play the psp games though, see how their like, but sadly, no psp D=

All I really want is a Sonic the Hedgehog 4. A successor to Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I mean, Capcom brought Megaman back with MM9 and it was awesome and sold really well. Making a Sonic 4 that plays just like Sonic 3 and Knuckles with updated sprites, new songs and new levels would be awesome.

Also... BRING BACK THE SPIN-DASH!!! All recent Sonic games seem to of have removed the spin-dash all together. The Insta-shield needs to come back. Knuckles gliding and climbing and Tails being able to swim and fly and hold Sonic.

In my opinion, they should make a Sonic 4 and have players be able to choose whatever character they want, Sonic Knuckles, Tails and maybe a 4th character for a possible 4 player mode. Also, if one is too play a 2 player co-op mode (Like Sonic and Tails in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3/Knuckles) they should be able to pick any combination of characters they want (Kinda like in Sonic Advance 3). So one can team up Knuckles and Tails or Sonic and Knuckles and etc.

Bring back the racing modes like in Sonic 2 or 3 where one can race a friend in a pre-existent zone in the game or completely different zones made for the versus like in Sonic 3 (only without the looping laps)

Giving the space and advancement of "technology" these days having more than just 8 zones will be easy and cheap. Sonic 4 should have as much stages as Sonic 3 and Knuckles had (if not more) to make for a long, speedy game.

If not a Sonic 4, I want a consolized Sonic Rush

As much as I love Sonic too...ever Since Yuji Naka left Sonic Team it's not the same nor will it be the same ever. Sonic pretty much died when his creator left the development team.

Which is why I guess there is all new kinds of Sonic junk to appeal to the "New" generation I guess where as the hardcore Sonic fans are left out to dry...sure there are some gems like Sonic Rush and Sonic Unleashed but it will never be the same.

I honestly think there will never be a Sonic 4...the only reason Capcom could do what they did with Megaman 9 is because the original team is still there...they never went anywhere. It's kind of like this JOKE article I read in a GameInformer once about Yuji Naka and Sonic Team saying the reason they're coming out with all these **** games is because they want to kill Sonic XD...of course I believe that was fake.

But yeah....sorry Matt but a Sonic 4 is never gonna happen.

also brings us to the fact that there's SO MUCH casual gaming CRAPS being released.

NINTENDO :

Look at myamoto... all the casual gaming stuffs he makes.. its shameful, Nintendo really turned out on us BUT are slowly coming back with Metroid : OTHER M.


SEGA :

Have totally lost it, at least Virtua Fighter remained intact, they killed Golden Axe with a next-gen casual gaming fail. Sonic I'll count it as a still running seires.. but not at its 100% fun.


CAPCOM : Still rocks my socks. Inafune's still running Rockman wich is PERFECT. Devil May Cry, Onimusa, Street Fighter IV an awesome recent title.


SNK PLAYMORE : I just mention those because I'm a huge fan.
SNK's still the best at Making fighting games IMO and in being Capcom's arch rival along with Street Fighter series. haven't deceived my ONE BIT.

SQUARE-ENIX :
Has shown really good stuffs recently, unbelieveable FF13 and VS, I think they're still awesome at RPG making.



now why did I mention all those compagnies? notice how compagnies have changed from their golden days to NOW. Sega used to be the best and lost its touch, capcom never lost it tho, -Good thing-, but I don't see why compagnies are going for casual gaming **** when they could please the fan and make money with good and quality games.

Give the fans something as good as they want : Sonic the hedgehog 4 let's say. and you'll make SO MUCH MORE MONEY Than with making casual gaming stuffs..

I don't understand their logic, it makes no sense. just look at how midway's slowly going down.
