I'm kinda surprised that I haven't seen a Starcraft II topic pop up on this forum. I guess not many people on this forum know what the game is. If that is the case, then I'll be more than happy to explain the deep roots of Starcraft. Starcraft is a Sci-Fi RTS (Real Time Strategy) video game for the PC developed by Blizzard. It was first release March 31, 1998 and since than has had one expansion pack back known as Brood War and is known for being one of the best RTS series in the world. Starcraft II is the next game in the series and takes place after the events of Starcraft: Brood War. Starcraft II will have three expansions each following the events of the games three different races, Terran, Protoss, and Zerg. Each expansion will be the length of a full game, so this isn't some type of money milking scheme, instead this allows Blizzard to develop the story for each of the main characters in each race a bit better.

Anyway, if you really wanted to learn more about this series, you can just look it up on Wikipedia.

I got a chance to play the beta for Starcraft II for about a month and a half before they shut down the servers for a few weeks. The servers beta servers will be brought back up only a few weeks before the games official release, so while I wait for that, I thought it would be nice to discuss this game with everyone else on the forum

The completion reward on the Official Starcraft II Dominion community site had reached 100% and this is what we received! I really can't wait for this game to come out.
