They had only recently released it in Japan at the end of September so the game...in my opinion, won't be out till like maybe late May or early June...but it's only a guess. Oh yeah...and you can catch a Mew in Pokemon Emerald...the only thing is that you need a certain ticket for it...just forgot which one...and I know it isn't the Aurora Ticket.

Yep Ho-oh and Lugia are in Emerald too. Of course you need a seperate ticket for it too. The tickets in Emerald that leads you to hidden Islands:
[spoiler]1: Aurora Ticket - Takes you to the island with Deoxys on it. (Birht Island)
2: Eon Ticket - Takes you to the island with Latias or Latios (depends on what you chose after seeing it on the TV. Seen red (Latias), Latios will be on the island and vice versa) (Southern Island)
3: Mystic Ticket - Takes you to the island with Lugia and Ho-oh on it. (Naval Island) *Beware...Lugia and Ho-oh both level 70.
4: Old Sea Chart - Takes you to the island with Mew on it. (Faraway Island)[/spoiler]

The Old Sea Chart was being given out as a Mystery Gift at a Nintendo event. And that is the only way to get it...unless you decide on using GameSharks...but that is one of the far off solutions.

To get Mew, you must aquire the Old Sea Chart. Now this really stinks: To get
it you can do 2 things:
The first way is to buy a Gameshark from a video game store or online (like at
Amazon.com). Then, plug it into the Gameboy, start the game, and go anywhere
you want. Then, hold L and enter the code:

You are now on Faraway Isle. Mew will immediately see you, and you'll enter
battle. Mew is psychic, so battle it with Bug, Dark, and Ghost. If you
accidentally kill it, turn off the Gameboy and retry it: just like several
other legendaries, you only get one shot at it. You can't save on Faraway Isle,
though. Unfortunately, this place is off the maps, so you can't fly back.
Instead enter this code while holding L:

This code is similar to the first, but is slightly different. The second way
is to go to a Nintendo Game Event, but they haven't been doing those for several
years. If you know someone who went to one and has a Chart, mix records with
them to get one.
