2 Love or Not 2 Love, That is The Question?

Everyone has heard the saying, "It is better to have loved once than not have loved at all." I was wondering if this is actually true. The reason I ask this is because a few years ago I was emotionally dead, meaning I could not feel love, hate, etc. So I ask everyone, please do not lock this topic for I wish to know, is love actually so good that it is worth the risk of your emotions being hurt when you find out the person you love did not love or care about you.

The reason I ask this is because back towards the end of 1999 my mom met a man who became my step father. Now when I saw him I had a bad feeling about him and I was right. He had married six times with my mom being his six in 2000. He began to cause me and my brother misery and my mom was cutting all conections with the rest of my family. Then he was born, my dark side. I began to have dark thoughts, so to stop this I went through a vigours training which would kill my emotions in order to prevent him from doing anything wrong. In this time period many women confessed their love to me but I had to tell them that I could not feel any emotion. This went on till fall of 2004 when my mom and step father through me out of my home. Luckly my dad was nearby, because he was a truck driver, he picked me up and took me to a real home. Their my emotions began to return, I could now feel and I could grow once more. Here is my tale of how I became emotionally dead. As I look back I begin to feel miserable and how I turned down those womens feelings.

Shadowmega, I have to say that yes it is very important to love, and that regardless of how painful the end result may be, love is more than worth
the pain that you might end up feeling in the end. I speak from experience I have been in love many times, each time however I've found out that the person I loved did not care for or about me at all, and yet I do not regret it and I know without a doubt that neither will you.

Well I know how you feel Shadowmega well somewhat... and yes love is worth it...

we are all humans here so sometimes we get down and depressed when things like this happen...i remember like 2 years ago there was this girl

I was going out with and later on in our relationship she cheated on me...and it made me feel so bad that I dove into a phase of depression and emoness for about a year...

than I finally found a girl I could love and be there for knowing she will be there for me...

like I said its just pure human emotion to feel this way so keep your chin up High and dont let these things get to you sometimes...I realized that... life sometimes is to short to be worrying about this stuff sometimes i guess...but there is always someone out there waiting for you.

love that is why all were created We go through life full fill our destinys and along with our destinys love is there. Love is esentiel to live to not become bitter and not to become Cold to others Love is Never meant to be supressed or hidden. The heart was made to love and if it does not love then the heart fades into its shadow as you feel like your falling and nothing can help you. I understand how you feel in the sense Ive done the same thing When I was in middle school But yeah Dude love is the most important thing to life.

Another thing, that training I did with my emotions got me close to being hospitalized because I had pretty much gave up the will to live. But somehow I came back.

Don't ever give up on love when you found it. Even if you have to endure the physical and mental pain of protecting the one you love.

I had to protect my girlfriend from jealous guys. I almost died for her once but I didn't give up.

espacialy when its bad
ive seen it casue problems on so many occasins already. i mean when you think you want to love somone, and you think they will change and they pretend it loves you it cant be good.its happening now(not to me) and quite frankly its making me frustraited. i mean, ok ok, love is nessisary, but it messes so many things up. i mean, especaily if your im high school(witch i am) so i mean people think they know what love is. but they dont. making it more of a problem becasue they dont know if its real or not. it cant be trusted. love if you wnat. but, be warry for yourself, and when you fall in love deepre, be where of your freinds...
