Anyone watch the anime series? I think it's alright, even though they use Syaoran and Sakura from cardcaptors. Also season 2 finished not long ago.

Anyone have any opinions on this anime show?

Well, its the sequal to Card Captor Sakura and it also features characters from the other CLAMP-series. But it misses something to my oppinion. I think Card Captor Sakura is way better since it had the special CLAMP-feeling, just like my fav CLAMP-series Angelic Layer has.

Chronicles is a sequel to CCS? I thought it was just a totally other story featuring a various amount of Clamp characters? Or did I miss sumtin?

because when i watched it, the story line the first ep introduced wouldn't have fit with CCS IMO

Yeah, I re-checked with an anime info site and its only character related.
And believe me its character related with almost all CLAMP-series and the featured series that are missing in season 1 do appear in season 2 .

Well, I don't really like this series since Sakura looks weird O_O

i read the books but i don't know that someone made an anime for Tsubasa. how cool! i like Angelic Layer, Cardcaptor Sakura, and XXX Holic. are any of those also anime?
