Personal thoughts on Outstanding games?

my favs overall are RPGs, lets start with that =D

- Tales of the Abyss
Bassically the best RPG for me, I though Symphonia was a bomb, but this one used the same style but improved and that is why I loved it, besides that the characters is role was more important as this is a 6 characters RPG (well 7 if you count Asch ). But I guess that with 9 characters there are some that really are there for decoration (ex from symphonia: Regal and Presea). Anyway if you love plot twist, awesome characters design, a very solid gameplay with good graphics, then this one is a MUST have =D

- Kingdom Hearts 2
for a lot one of the best, I think the gameplay and the animation is what makes this game awesome, but if you ask me, the story is for a -13 year old kid *don´t hit me*, the story is fill of bla bla hearts blah blah the door to light blah blah OMG Cloud blah blah Burn Baby >D. Ok that wasn´t a good example, but if you analize it... yeah XD

- Rogue Galaxy
there is something about this game for PS2 that I just loved it, the gameplay is pretty similar to the one of KH2, the speciall effect of the attacks are just awesome and this game is full of HQ clips woot. I will quote what someone in gamefaqs said about the story: "is like Kingdom hearts but with a pirates theme ", so true XD.

- Baten Kaitos Origins
probably the game with the most original and the best story ever, the gameplay is card based, but the way they use the cards is so cool, of course free time is better, but I really enjoyed this game for its gameplay, graphics, story and character development.

well here is my top 4 :D, BTW Rogue galaxy is pretty new, it came out this january . I will post later what I think my perfect game should have (don´t have that much time now O_o)

oh man

-Gears of War: amazing graphics and gameplay. Story mode events just flow together smoothly, and feels like you're in a haunted hayride(especially when you're goin into that building that leads to the mines). Nice dialogues(extremely funny at times)

-Call of Duty 2(360): Graphics were extremely impressive. and the overall feel of the game and the controller sensitivity was perfect. Multiplayer on or offline are perfect, not too big like in CoD3, and keeps the action alive.

-KH, KH2: what isnt great about this game? The story, the music, the gameplay, everything is there...except on some occasions the dreaded camera angles....

-FFVII: oh god...although extremely outdated now, it was amazing back then...Its got an amazing story, minigames, memorable characters, etc...its epic....

Dead or Alive 4: Although i curse this game for spoiling me, i find it to be the best fighter(im obsessed with fighting games) The graphics are smooth and polished, nice effects(like blur effects on fast punches) really cool grabs and tag team combos, variety and uniqueness to all characters. The only downside to this is that Tekken feels so ssssllllooowwwww after playing it

my perfect game would have:
-real time battle system like KH, mixed with Gears of War style stop-and-pop-take-cover gameplay.
-good soundtrack(although not a lot of people pay attention to this, i think it is one of the most essential keys to a good game)
-Good Story(I prefer ones with unexpected twists)
-Top notch graphics
-Coop ability, on and offline
-innovation

Anything Dead or Alive related(AYANE!!!)
Pokemon RPG's(only the RPG's and Stadium-like games)
All 3D Zelda's (Ocarina, Majora, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess)
Anything Dynasty Warriors related
And some I forgot and will add later.

Basically I like anime games in the genres RPG, Fighting and Action.
