PS3 Shortage!

PS3 sucks... PS2 was way better by far...

The Wii will reign supreme while the X-Box 360 is in the middle. As for the PS3... well it's going to Nintendo for help. *seeing as how they half-way copied Nintendo with the controller*


Now for an interesting story...

I was in Wal-Mart two or three days ago, and saw a video displaying some of the "highlights" *laughs* of the PS3. The main highlight was the DVD Player in the PS3. It showed a video of... Lord of The Rings I think... while a few people were talking in a stone looking room.

Well, it cut the screen in half, and comapred the normal DVD Player to the PS3's DVD Player.

"As you can see, the Sony PS3 can reveal things that can't be seen in any normal DVD Player."

Big deal. It makes the screen more sharper, and not as fuzzy. But when you look at a "normal" DVD Player do you get what you want from it? Do you get to watch the DVD that you want? YES! PS3 fails there...

So I am watching the video, and thinking out loud to myself;

"Ok big deal... the PS3 can play DVD's at a somewhat higher quality... The PS3 is still going to bomb out... a complete failure..."

This guy who I don't know walks up to me and says;

"Man what are you talking about? The Sony PS3 is going to rock! How can you say it's going to fail without playing it first?"

I replied;

"I think it's going to fail for a lot of good reasons. One being that Sony got stupid or high one night, and thought it would be cool to put a VERY expensive Blue Ray tech inside of a game system, and sell it at a very high priceNot to mention they bragged about it saying it would completely own the gaming market. Second, all they seem to be concetrating on is DVD quality. Last time I checked a Game system was about gaming, not DVD's. Third, Sony waited until the last minute for Nintendo to reveal their new awesome controller, and half way copied it!"

He replied;

"What are you talking about? Why would Sony copy a company that sucks compared to them?"

Very shocked, I replied;

"Dude are you serious? Where have you been all these years? In Sony World? Nintendo started it all! Sure, Atari was the first game system, but Nintendo was the first world wide! How can you diss your roots man? Nintendo is going to come out on top while Sony is crying in hell."

He seemed very annoyed by that point, so I walked away.

Honestly... HOW? How can anyone be like him...? The sad part is he looked older than me...

But I have ended my rant there.

XD I knew it, the moment Sony told that it was going to use a more advanced ray (as blu-ray) without knowing that they were going to be expensive, I said to myself "Sony will lose the war" (apart that the console cost the double of the price of the Wii) XD, Great job Sony. I hope this fatal error will make other companies put its eyes on the Wii, I hope cause in hell I will get the PS3, too expensive for a console that will last 4-5 years? until a new one (probably PS4 >.>)

for your Story ZW, yeah the fans of Sony are that way, in fact they think that we, people that plays Nintendo games, are (Word the sounds like May, but starts with G)! ¬¬, honestly they think they are superior only because they have more "mature games", they don´t know that Nintendo aims for all the people of all ages, not only teenagers or adults. Anywya let him be ZW, when the Wii make Sony close for not selling enough PS3 then you will laugh at his face XD.

Also yeah PS2 is far more better (just because I have one >.>), but its very funny to make turns for the consoles (2 hours GC and then 2 hours PS2 and vice-versa XD)

well the ps3 aint really hard to find any more, they are every where now the wii is the one thats hard to get now.. (I'm so glad I got mine on launch day that 11hr wait was worth it^^)

I seriously think that nobody is giving the PS3 a chance...hey i'm a big nintendo fan and I think their gonna come out on top in the end and

I want a Wii....but you can't really judge all these systems yet...for one reason because they each haven't seen enough birthdays...give the Ps3

some time...if it still isn't that good then you can say it sucks...and I really like Nintendo and their new idea but I have my doubts...I mean what if the Wii gets old after a while and game producers can't come up

with any new ideas for the Wii...cause eventually it will get old...and what if third party support lacks just like it did with the "cube"...I'm not sure but you have to give these systems time and then we will see what happens...

P.S.: the only reason I want a PS3 really is for Devil May Cry 4 *drools*

I think my main problem with the PS3 is that philosophically, it's a confused system. It doesn't really know what it wants to do. The 360 wants to be a social system; it wants to get you online, talking to people, playing these fun little minigames, and going for the high score and bragging rights. It wants to bring you together and make you remember what you love about gaming.

The Wii wants to get you off the couch, for you to be physical and to be part of this game world. Wii wants you to connect and to get your friends and family involved even if they don't like games. The Xbox 360 and Wii are systems that know what they want to do.

The PS3 doesn't have any grand ideas; Sony wanted something high-tech, so they started from scratch with the processor and GPU, but what does it get them? Very little so far. The controller is a mash-up of ideas from their old systems, the 360's triggers, and the Wii's motion-sensing capabilities, but once it has that tech it doesn't really know what to do with it. The Blu-ray adds cost, but adds very little to the gaming experience for the user. It's great as a media player, but for those of us who love games first and foremost, we have to look at it skeptically. The PS3 is a system with no core message, and that is what keeps it from being elegant. Will it do great things in the future? I hope so, the possibility and potential are certainly there. For now, it's power looking for a mission statement.

But still the PS3 got release last year...Give it some time until MGS4 comes out

The 360 its getting a price drop since theres going to be a new design 360 ( Xbox 360 elite )
