omg the ninth novel left me wanting more (but that's what a good novel does right) i can't wait for number ten for me to see what happened next =D
and to answer your question gb they are like you're typical books an illustration every now and then Noizi Ito (the illustrator for the novels) is a great artist imo and give us nice drawings to look at
but i do agree with Sync that the novel gets tough to understand considering the complexity the begins to come in around the 6th or 7th novel sometimes i just sit there for a bit to figure it out XD
well the translation at baka-tsuki are nice but my japanese friends say that the translation is horrible unfortunately i can't read japanese so... baka-tsuki is all i got haha one of my friend hate it so much that she said she'd rather read the whole thing to me instead XD

Okay, I'm intrested now. Are they available in the U.S., or are they only available translated on they internet?
And if the answer is the second one, could someone provide me a link if it is not to much trouble?

only translated unless you know japanese XD i have quite a few novels in my room just because i'm a Haruhiist XD but yea only translated
hmmm i've never been on the Baka-tsuki site because i usually just torrent the translations but Synchro-kun would probably give them to you haha he's probably having a nice christmas right now =D
