Two questions

Okay, first of all, I had Vista on my new computer and when I played flash movies they worked very smoothly even on high quality, but when I installed XP on it, the flash movies started working less smoothly on high quality.
Does it have something to do with the DirectX installed on Vista or is it something else?
As for my second question, wich Graphics card is better, Ati Radeon X1600 or Asus EN8500GT?
