The word you're looking for is Boktai. That's the game where Django plays the head character. The game itself has some crossovers to the Rockman Battle Network games too.
I don't know which Django you saw because there are 2 versions. One from the Boktai games, and one from Lunar Knights. It's same Django btw....only a new look
I can't help you with the manga, but did you try google?

there's this one forum I go to thats like the only boktai forum out there. I got all the manga's (volumes etc.) from there. I don't have a link on me now, but I'll get it to you soon.
You can try to google "bokura no taiyoh online" too.
