Yeah, you can do wonders with WMM, heck I've made most of my AMVs out of WMM.

Demonheart was WMM? Wow... how did you get one clip play over another like that? That was another great AMV.

well to get one clip to play over another in WMM...you can put one clip after the clip u want it to run over. Then slide it in to the clip you want it under.

Step 1:
[clip 1][clip 2]

2:
[Clip 1][clip 2] *click and drag to the left while on timeline*

3 results:
[clip [clip 1] 2] hopefully that explained it XD i no it's a horrible explanation

Hopefully being color coded made it easier since yellow and red mixed creates orange XD

Ah... I see... Another thing I found that works is making clips short and using fade... but I'll try that.

... To do a overlay effect like that in WMM (Windows Mover Maker) your going to have to play Doctor with the 2 / 3 clips you want to have the overlay effect on.

Its going to be kind of hard to explain without showing you.

Ok for this Example I am going to be using a clip from the Opening to Megaman 8 and the Clip where Duo wakes up in Megaman 8.

Ok, first you are going to select the clip you want

Then take that clips can drag it to the Movie timeline

Now take your second clip and drag it onto the Movie timeline

Now since clip 2 is longer, I am going to make it the first clip in our timeline

Next I am going to select the middle of the first clip

and split the clip into two parts.

Next I am going to take the first clip we put in our timeline and place it between the two split parts.

Next I drag the clip over into the first clip in our time line leaving just a little hang over.

and for the final part, I drag the last clip in our timeline over the rest of the clip thats hanging over the first clip in our timeline.

To put it short, I cut the first clip into two parts and placed the second clip between them, kind of like a sandwich.

Also, you may have noticed the X marks on all my clips in my DemonHeart timeline. Well that is because when I made the AMV all my episodes were stored in my E drive and currently they are Store in my D drive. Same folder location just a different drive.

I get that alot. Move A to B, then from B to C, and its gone. Reupload everything. Also the freezing is annoying... so I save everytime I do something. lol

If you have WMM2 or the WMM you get with XP when you running off a service pack 2, you can set it so that it saves every minute in the options selection. Even if it freezes, let it sit there for a good minute and it'll still save
